The project will be developed by Ventusa Energy. The project objective is to supply clean electricity to the grid of the Republic of South Africa.
The project development envisages the construction and operation of a wind farm with installed capacity of about 70 MW. The wind farm will consist of up to 35 wind turbines. Produced electricity will be supplied to the Eskom electricity network.
The total expected emission reductions at the end of the 10-year crediting period - 1,783,000 tCO2
Gouda Grid Connected 120 MW Wind Farm, South Africa
The project will be developed by Ventusa Energy. The project objective is to supply clean electricity to the grid of the Republic of South Africa.
The project envisages construction and operation of a wind farm with the installed capacity of about 120 MW. The wind farm will consist of up to 60 wind turbines. Produced electricity will be supplied to the Eskom electricity network.
The total emission reductions at the end of the 10-year crediting period - 2,934,000 tCO2
Sishen Grid Connected 100 MW Solar Park, South Africa
The project will be developed by Ventusa Energy. The project objective is to supply clean electricity to the grid of the Republic of South Africa.
The project envisages construction and operation of a solar park with the anticipated installed capacity of up to 100 MW. The solar park will be equipped with several arrays of photovoltaic (PV) panels and/or concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) panels. A to be defined quantity of panels will be mounted on trackers. Produced electricity will be supplied to the Eskom electricity network.
The total emission reductions at the end of the 10-year crediting period - 2,130,500 tCO2

The solar park will be equipped with several arrays of photovoltaic (PV) panels and/or concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) panels. A to be defined quantity of panels will be mounted on trackers. Produced electricity will be supplied to the Eskom electricity network.
