The project covers capacity expansion at Krasnodar CHPP (KCHPP) of LLC "LUKOIL-Kubanenergo" through installation of a CCP-410 combined-cycle plant with 416.5MW of installed electrical capacity and 220 Gcal/h of thermal capacity from steam extraction turbines. The plant is based on M701F4 gas-turbine units manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Ltd. (MHI).
Power supply to end users from CCP-410 will be in the order of 3 210 k MWh per year, heat supply - 715 k Gcal per year. The implemented technologies allow enhancement of heat and power generation efficiency and comply with all up-to-date environmental standards.
The greenhouse gas emission reductions under the project are achieved due to increased efficiency and higher power output at Krasnodar CHPP through application of the state-of-the-art technology of CCP-based power generation with the corresponding substitution of grid power generated within the Integrated Energy System "South".
